The primary service provided by A Mind Like Yours is professional wellness counseling.
- Professional Registration: Services are provided by a registered Wellness Counselor affiliated with the ASCHP (Association for Supportive Counsellors and Holistic Practitioners).
- Scope of Practice: Counseling sessions are focused on personal growth, emotional wellness, coping strategies, and solution-focused methodologies.
- Crisis & Medical Disclaimer: Wellness counseling is not a substitute for psychiatric treatment, clinical psychology, or emergency medical intervention. If you are experiencing a severe mental health crisis or emergency, please contact your local emergency services or a dedicated crisis hotline immediately.
2. Client Responsibility & Engagement
Counseling is a collaborative process. While your counselor will provide professional guidance and tools, therapeutic outcomes depend heavily on the client’s active participation and engagement.
3. Payment & Billing
All counseling sessions must be paid for in advance or at the time of booking to secure your appointment. Payments are securely processed via our payment gateway, PayFast.
4. Secondary Services: Digital Products
A Mind Like Yours occasionally offers secondary educational resources, such as psychoeducational workbooks or templates. These materials are intended solely for personal, non-commercial use to supplement personal growth. All intellectual property remains the property of A Mind Like Yours, and materials may not be redistributed or resold.
